GETTING THERE
DIRECTIONS (click here):
Bus lines serving the area, a map and more! We will have directional signs on site to help you maneuver your way to Hangar 30.
TICKETING:
The Rat City Rollergirls proudly use Brown Paper Tickets for all of our 2008 bouts.

Our bout venue for 2008 is smaller and will sell out quickly. A limited number of entries may be for sale at the door. Day of show prices are usually five dollars more per persons (an incentive to buy early). Bleacher seats typically sell out well in advance, but floor seats have that up-close-and-personal feel! Floor seats are not chairs; floor seats are butts on the floor.

Please direct all of your ticketing and seating questions to
Box Office and Ticketing Manager: Selma Soul
PARKING:
There is free parking along the streets within the park and within adjacent parking lots. Our volunteer parking attendants will do everything they can to help you park. ADA parking is limited, so arrive early to navigate.
NO TAILGATING:
Please refrain from tailgating with your own alcohol! You will jeopardize our ability to provide a beer garden! Our paid security staff is roaming the parking lot at regular intervals to ensure the NO TAILGATING rule is strictly enforced.
OTHER QUESTIONS:
Please send all other questions to Bout Planner/Manager: Dixie Dragstrip!
GENERAL INFORMATION
DOORS OPEN:
Get there when doors open to make sure you do not miss all the special pre-bout treats we have in store for you, and to ensure you get a good seat!
SEATING:
Even if all the bleacher seats are taken by the time y'all arrive, you can stand, rent, or buy a cute Rat City Rollergirls seat cushion for the floor - or bring a cushion of your own :-) Don’t bring your own chairs please! Only little stadium seat cushions, or small pillows from home will be allowed.
ENTRY / RE-ENTRY:
Please have your tickets ready upon entry. Your hand will be stamped for re-entry and you will have the option of taking a program (until they run out!).
RECORDING DEVICES:
Some photo and video access must be granted before day-of-show by contacting Dirty Little Secret, so anyone who has a camera with a bigger, commercial detachable lens, or a video camera should have cleared it through us in advance to obtain photo credentials.

Our policy is:

  • Point and shoot cameras are okay. Please share your photos with us by posting a link to them HERE.

  • Commercial-grade cameras (those with detachable lenses) require advanced permission and credentials. Contact Dirty Little Secret.

  • Video cameras require advanced permission and credentials. Contact Dirty Little Secret.

If someone tries to enter, or is found at the bout using a commercial-grade camera without a credentials, they will be asked to please return their camera to their car, or hand it to our Event Manager.
SECURITY: Our security folks will screen your bag upon entry at their discretion.
CONCESSIONS:
Yummy food and beverages are provided by our concessions providers. In addition, we will have a small concessions table and beverages inside the hangar. Outside the hangar, inside the park and directly across the street is another coffee and hotdog vendor.
VENDING:
Set your table at an RCRG bout! Table vending at our bouts is a stellar opportunity to showcase your league, business, or organization to 1900+ people. Table space is limited and based on a first come, first served basis. For more information or to reserve a table, e-mail Anya Heels

CLIMATE:
The hangar is not climate controlled, so please dress appropriately.
BEER GARDEN
  • The Service Board and The Showbox provide our cash-only Beer Garden.
  • The Beer Garden provides a variety of adult beverage selections, from beer to cocktails, prices range from $4 - $8, and a Happy Hour occurs toward the end of the bout.
  • Remember: bring ID for access to the Beer Garden! We have an ATM on site for cash withdrawals.
  • The Beer Garden fencing is required by State Regulations and local City Code.
INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES
The Rat City Rollergirls strive to maintain a PG-13 image so that people of all ages in our community can enjoy the exciting sport of roller derby. We have lots of kids at our bouts- many of our players are mamas and we love mentoring our Seattle Derby Brats (girls age 10-16) and The Tootsie Rollers (starting at age 5).

The Rat City Rollergirls do not currently have a policy excluding fans of any age, however, we do offer the following guidelines and expect parents to use their own judgement:

  • Our games are full-contact. When Strobe Lightning slams into Rollin' Bayou with full rocket power, poor Rollin' may fall down and go boom... and might just get carried off the track by medics.

  • Some of our names contain words or innuendos you might not read in children's books (uh... like JoWanna Ass Kickin' or Blonde Ann Bitchin'), but nothing that couldn't be printed in Sunday's newspaper.

  • You might see some cleavage (this is the favorite part for our infant fans), torn fishnets, Meg My Day's sparkly underpants, or some part of the tattoo on Dirty Little Secret's glutes.

  • Some of our announcers' jokes are bad. Some are a little on the raunchy side. But like your Uncle Al's schtick on Thanksgiving, the bouts wouldn't be the same without 'em.

  • The bouts are LOUD. Like really, really loud! We have earplugs on the cheap at our merch booth, but kids over 12mo and under 5 generally end up eating them and we accept no liability.

  • The hangar isn't the cleanest place on earth. Crawling on the floor at any age probably poses some sort of hazard.

  • Attending a full bout is an approximately 4 hour time commitment. Very sad to say, but your five year old might get bored- although you most certainly won't!

  • Exercise your parental discretion. For more information (and general parenting advice), contact our Family Liaison... Ruby Red
ITEMS NOT ALLOWED AT RCRG BOUTS
  • No Weapons - Guns - Knives - Brass Knuckles - Pepper Spray or any item deemed a potential weapon by our security staff
  • No outside alcoholic beverages
  • No backpacks or large bags (nothing bigger than a purse or a camera* bag)
  • No personal chairs or stools (seat cushions ok) unless pre-approved by emailing our Box Office
  • No whistles or noise makers
DURING THE BOUT
Please keep all marked pathways clear during the bout.
Please, please do not bring whistles that interfere with the Rat Fink whistles!
Be respectful of reserved seating areas.

RCRG BOUT CODE OF CONDUCT
    1. SAFETY IS OUR No. 1 PRIORITY: Please help us by doing your part!

    2. DO NOT ENGAGE in VIOLENT OR THREATENING ACTS: Offenders will be immediately removed from the facility by security staff and depending on the circumstances, offenders may be permanently 86'd from all Rat City Rollergirls’ events and 911 may be called.

    3. DO NOT HARASS or VERBALLY ABUSE US, or EACH OTHER: Be respectful, be cool, don't be an ass!

4· KEEP YOUR CHILDREN SAFE: Children must be supervised at all times and shall refrain from running around the facility. Please be aware that RCRG strives to entertain within the boundaries of a "PG-13"-type rating. Roller Derby is a full contact/violent sport with flirty overtones and colorful language.

    5. NO GAME INTERFERENCE: Audience members are to refrain from interfering with the game by throwing objects, blowing whistles, or walking onto the rink during the competition.

GUIDELINES and REGULATIONS FOR SIGNS and FLARE
  • Signs and flare will be allowed at the discretion of RCRG staff

  • Signs and flare must be of a reasonable size and cannot block the view of others

  • Signs and flare must not post a hazard to others (no sharp wooden posts, spikes, nails, etc.)

  • Signs cannot have the “F” word, or "N" word on them

  • Extremely offensive signs will not be allowed
