Welcome to Quarter 4 (Q4) of 2009. With each quarter, brings an updated All Stars team roster. The Rat City Rollergirls All Stars earn their spots through a combination of factors including tryouts and league
participation. Team members are voted
on and selected by fellow league members and coaches on a quarterly basis during the year. Welcome to our new members for Q4 and wish them luck! Season record as of August 30th, 2009: 4-5 (wins: B.A.D. Girls, Duke City, Detroit, Carolina; losses: Rose City, Charm City, Philly, Windy City, Denver)

Rat City Rollergirls All Stars are members of the Woman's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), which unveiled the 2009 Western Region (see map) in January. WFTDA Western and National rankings are found here.
The All Stars compete
in
WFTDA sanctioned interleague bouting events, and follow the WFTDA's Offical Rules.

The Northwest Knockdown, National WFTDA Championship Tournament, November 2008 |
The Northest Knockdown was the the 2008 Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) Championship Tournament, co-hosted by Rose City Rollers and Rat City Rollergirls at the Portland Expo Center November 14-16. The Championship featured the top eight roller derby teams in the country who duked it out for the national title. The November championship followed Western Regionals, hosted by Houston Roller Derby October 3-5, and Eastern Regionals, hosted by the Mad Rollin' Dolls (Madison, Wisc.) October 10-12. The 2008 WFTDA Champions were the Gotham Girls Roller Derby and the Rat City Rollergirls placed fifth.
The tournament featured amazing roller derby athleticism, a rich assortment of vendors and other entertainment. Many thanks to all that helped make this event happen. (Photos above by Jules Doyle)

On September 30, 2007, the Kansas City Roller Warriors beat the Rat City Rollergirls in the final match of the Texas Shootout, becoming the 2007 national champion roller derby team. The Rat City Rollergirls placed second.

The women of the Tucson Roller Derby hosted the 2007 Dust Devil Western Regional Tournament in Tucson,
Arizona. Rat City's All Star Travel team, previously ranked third in the nation, blocked, pivoted, and
jammed into first place! Rat City was ranked No. 1 in the West!

Bumberbout, Seattle Invitational Expo Tournament, September 2006 |
September 2, 2006: The Bumberbout Flat Track Derby Invitational was held during Bumbershoot in the KeyArena and was a huge success! Over 20,000 rabid derby fans
clamored into the KeyArena to see the best leagues in the nation vie for the number one spot.
Win or lose, every single skater on every team skated with heart, drive and ferocious
determination. The Rat City Rollergirls were honored to be able to act as hostesses to these
amazing athletes.
Bumberbout showcased eight of the top roller derby teams from across
the country for the day-long expo tournament. Participating teams are listed in order of official
Bumberbout ranking:

February 24–26, 2006: The Rat City Rollergirls All Stars represented Seattle
in a national roller derby tournament hosted by the Rollergirls of the
Tucson Roller Derby. RCRG played amazingly well
for our first interleague play ever, ranking 5th in the nation! The Rat City Rollergirls would like to thank the national Woman's Flat Track Derby Association
WFTDA sister leagues for the ferocious competition from the dedicated rollergirls from across the nation!
