SOCKiT WENCHES - Jackie Hammer
No. 66 Blows Per Minute (BPM)

Please Hammer, Don’t Hurt ‘Em!

Abandoned at a wrecking yard in South Detroit when she was only 3 days old, Jackie Hammer was adopted and raised by a pack of wild Chihuahuas. She quickly learned how to fend for herself amongst the demolished hotrods and abandoned jalopies.

At the ripe age of 14, Jackie was involved in a freak accident that melded a jackhammer into her body and gave her the ability to protract a variety of powerful, magic tools from her arms. From that day forward, she became known as “The Hammer.”

As time progressed, The Hammer became quite proficient in channeling the bone-crushing power of the jackhammer. And, as an added benefit, her tools made it possible for her to earn a meager wage at the wrecking yard as a car demolisher. Destroying things became her passion. After finding a pair of old roller skates in the backseat of an ’81 Trans Am “Bandit,” roller skating became her second passion. The Hammer was in love…

Despite all this, The Hammer led a tortured life. She didn’t get along well with others and, she had a vicious mean streak. She often wandered the streets at night, looking for fights, and as a result found herself in and out of jail. It was in jail that The Hammer met Drew Blood. Drew told her all about a gang of tough roller skating auto mechanics who called themselves the Sockit Wenches. All of a sudden, a light turned on in Hammer’s head. She knew she belonged with them, and so, as soon as she was released, she made her way to Rat City!

These days you can find The Hammer tearing up the roller rink with the Sockit Wenches, POUNDing villains at a rate of 66 paralyzing blows per minute. In her spare time, she free-styles with her long-lost fraternal twin brother, MC Hammer, whom she connected with via MySpace. It’s Hammer time!!!
