DERBY LIBERATION FRONT - mommacherry No. 350° "hothothot!"
|
mommacherry grew up in a small agricultural town in the Midwest, she was the love child of a well-known
country singer and small-time Vegas call girl. She spent the better part of her youth fighting off the
sons of farmers and educating herself for a better existence. Due to these self taught ideals, mommacherry,
became an activist at a young age, saving the whales and anything else that crossed her path.
mommacherry’s plans came to a halt when she found herself with child; considering her own upbringing
in a filthy Midwest trailer park she took the only way out she could see. After a quickie marriage,
mommacherry found herself in the Northwest doing laundry, assisting the PTA and struggling between
the ideals of her youth and those of her oppressive neighbors. While organizing a PTA rummage sale she
came across a worn copy of Abbie Hoffman’s “Steal this Book” and a pair of roller-skates. It was enough,
mommacherry packed up her daughter and her recipe books and she left the suburbs in search of the revolution.
Not long after, teaching her daughter to skate in a Seattle park, she was approached by a member of
Derby Liberation Front. The rest, as they say, is history.
