Legend has it that the band of Latvian gypsies among whom Hideous Braxley was born had never before encountered a child whose eyes leapt and burned in time with the rolling wheels of their caravan. This they attributed to the American, the roller disco gigolo who scissor-slid into their camp one night and disappeared a week later, leaving nothing behind but his seed, a glittering pair of roller skates, and a name, Kim, which Braxley would follow towards her destiny.
Gypsies then were received as they are now; with fear, mistrust, and contempt and it was with the greatest horror that young Braxley approached their camp after a day at play to find every caravan reduced to ash and her people murdered. With her gypsy heart in flames, Braxley terrorized the countryside in pursuit of vengeance, and those who would fear her whispered prayers of protection against the wrath of "the Hideous one."
With her anger abated, Hideous Braxley set out in search of the fabled Kim, a sister, who according to rumor had aligned herself with a band of girls whose souls churned with Braxley's own quest for justice. Their epic meeting which united the revolutionary forces of Kim Reaper and Hideous Braxley under the cause of the Derby Liberation Front will be heralded for generations.
