Last year, Portland's Rose City Rollers made the trek north to take on Seattle's own Rat City Rollergirls. With the home court advantage, RCRG won 3 of 4 games against the RCR. This year, Rat City will return the favor -- we'll be heading down south to take 'em on again!

Matchups include Grave Danger vs. the High Rollers, Throttle Rockets vs. the Break Neck Betties, Sockit Wenches vs. the Guns N Rollers, and Derby Liberation Front vs. the Heartless Heathers.

After much begging and pleading from our faithful fans (What can we say? We are pushovers when it comes to our fans!), we are very pleased to announce the creation of the Rat City Rollergirls Season Ticket!

Available later in January*, the purchase of a season ticket will enable RCRG fans to receive tickets to every single regular season bout this year, mailed directly to you every single month. Sold out? No problem! You'll never have to worry about missing a bout again!

Season tickets will guarantee access to all five regular season bouts, plus the semi-finals and the championship bout. Quantities will be limited, so buy 'em early.

Can you believe it? It's 2007 already, and that means that the Rat City Rollergirls are gearing up to start our third season. Our very first official bout of the year will be February 24th at the Everett Exhibition Center.

A new season brings a new Rat City All-Star Team hell-bent on world domination! The Rat City Rollergirls are proud to announce the traveling team that will head to February's regional finals in Tucson, Ariz. to fight for a spot in the national tournament set for fall 2007.

The Traveling Team has members from each of the four teams, who gladly put aside their rivalries and join forces to show the world that Seattle's where the derby is. Last year, RCRG entered the Tucson Dust Devil tournament as a wild card, a team who had never played an interleague bout. RCRG emerged ranked 5th in the nation, and since then has climbed to be ranked third nationally. Very little separates Rat City from the nation's two top-ranked teams. Will Rat City finally be able to beat out the fearsome No. 1 ranked Texas Rollergirls (last time they beat RCRG by five points) and the No. 2 ranked Tucson Saddletramps (who squeaked by RCRG by two points last year)? You're not going to want to miss this.

The Rat City Rollergirls are hosting our end-of-year super-duper-we-survived-another-year celebration. It's a Derby Prom, for rollergirls and support staff only, and it's coming up soon. So why are we telling you? Mentioning an invitation-only party without passing along an actual invitation is just plain rude, isn't it?

But wait just a minute! Aren't we raising money to send our super fantastic travel team to Tucson? We are! And we aren't above a little begging ourselves. To wit, we're auctioning off a pair of tickets to our rollergirl-only Derby Prom! DERBY PROM will be held in a private facility in the Seattle area on Friday, January 12, 2007 and will start at 7:00 p.m. -- we'll tell you where it is if you win the auction.

Derby Prom, complete with dinner and an open bar, is an exclusive event for RCRG members and support staff, and if you are a member of the general public these two tickets are your only way to experience this event! This is your chance to come celebrate with members of the Sockit Wenches, the Derby Liberation Front, Grave Danger, and the Throttle Rockets, as well as the support staff who make our bouts possible.
