Rat City Rollergirls Season 3 - Bout 7 - Championship Bout and Grudge Match Saturday, August 18, 2007 Magnuson Park, Hangar 27
In August, the Rat City Rollergirls cut to the chase ... for the 2007 RCRG League Championship trophy!
Grave Danger and the Sockit Wenches played for the revered golden roller skate in the Championship Bout, while
the Throttle Rockets and the Derby Liberation Front battled it out in a Grudge Match for third and fourth place.
And it was a pirate bout, matey, featuring Seafair Pirates!
The evening started off with the Grudge Match contenders duking it out all over the oval. Legs, fists, and wrist guards
flew when Pris Toff of the Throttle Rockets triumphantly returned to the lineup after suffering a broken collar bone
earlier this season. The Rockets fought tooth and nail, but despite the sneak pie attack, could not pull out a win
against the D.L.F.
Then, Grave Danger and the Sockit Wenches put on one nail-biter of a game for a screaming loud packed house! At half
time, things were looking good for the Sockit Wenches, but Danger regrouped and came out swinging for the second half,
burying the Wenches and taking the Championship Trophy for themselves.
DJ Boo Berry spun tunes all night long and live music from the Wages of Sin opened the Bout, while rollergirl karoke closed
it at the after party at the hangar after the game.
Congratulations to Grave Danger, Rat City Rollergirls Season Three CHAMPIONS!
Rat City Rollergirls Season 3 - Bout 6 - Semi-Finals Saturday, July 28, 2007
Magnuson Park, Hangar 27
We told you it was anyone's championship, and we weren't lying! If you missed the 2007 Rat City Rollergirls
Semi-Finals on July 28th, you missed out! From the Tiki theme to live music by the Steel Tigers of Death, to the
ferocious skating of the Rat City Rollergirls themselves, this action packed flat track derby bout was a non stop thrill
ride!
Until this game, the Derby Liberation Front was undefeated in Season Three.
But the 2006 Season Champion Sockit Wenches broke that streak, securing their spot to defend their Championship title.
In game two, Grave Danger made good on their vow to Strike Back against the Throttle Rockets, who had defeted them earlier
in the season.
Championship bout match up: Grave Danger vs. Sockit Wenches
Grudge Match: Thottle Rockets vs. Derby Liberation Front
Sockit Wenches vs. Atlanta Rollergirls All-Stars Sunday, July 15, 2007
Atlanta, GA
The Sockit Wenches took no prisoners when they stormed down South to take on the best that Atlanta had to offer.
Determined to earn a win with their first game on the road, the Wenches refused to give up or to give in. Even though they
were dazzled by both the skill and hospitality of their Southern derby sisters, the Wenches poured it on and
won this game 100 - 94! The entire Rat City Rollergirl league could not have been more proud of our gals in blue and orange!
Congratulations Sockit Wenches!

WaMu Theater at Qwest Events Center
The Rat City Rollergirls were back at the fabulous WaMu Theater at Qwest Events Center just in time for
Seattle Pride. With the beautiful and illustrious Gay Bingo Hostess Glamazonia as our guest announcer,
Bout 5 was truly an event for family of all kinds!
THE BIG GAY BOUT featured the much anticipated match up between the undefeated Derby Liberation Front and
the girls who were dying to take them down, Grave Danger. When all was said and done, the D.L.F. remained undefeated,
but took note as their winning margin was the smallest it has been all year. In interleague action, the Throttle
Rockets defeated the fast and furious "Mile High Club," the Denver Roller Dolls' All-Star team.
A portion of the profits from THE BIG GAY BOUT were proudly donated to support Lambert House, a center for Gay,
Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning youth and their allies that encourages empowerment through the
development of leadership, social and life
skills.
Rat City Rollergirls Season 3 - Bout 4 Saturday, May 26, 2007
Magnuson Park, Hangar 27
The first match-up of the year between the Sockit Wenches and the Throttle Rockets was an absolute
nail biter! After all the lead changes and extraordinary speed demons like Blonde and Bitchin', Pia Mess and
Miss Fortune left the track, the Throttle Rockets came out ahead, narrowly defeating the Sockit Wenches.
In the interleague rematch of the year, the Derby Liberation Front handily defeated the cowboy sweethearts of the derby,
The Honky Tonk Heartbreakers. Texas quickly realized the world of hurt they had gotten themselves into when then
first whistle blew, and Rice Rocket and Burnett Down showed Seattle the depths of this interstate rivalry!

the All Star line-ups of their choice. For one night only, the All Star Team divided into Green and White and
played against themselves! The competition was feirce for the two 15 minute periods, but the Green team showed
strong from the beginning and took a lead going into the second period. By the time the sparks has stopped flying,
the Green team emerged the victor chanting "Mean Green, Mean Green, The Meanest Green You've Ever Seen!"
At half-time, boys became true men on the derby track! Sporting names like Valtrex 3000, Man R. Kissed and

After months of fund raising, Grave Danger headed off to the Windy City to take on the Windy City All Star
Travel Team. While the ladies in red skated strong, the game slipped away from them by the end of the
third period and the Windy City Rollers emerged the victors of this WFTDA sanctioned interleague game.
The Rat City Rollergirls are so proud of Danger's performance on behalf of the league in their first time on
the road. Grave Danger and the Rat City Rollergirls would like to thank all of you who helped this game go
from an interleague dream to a hard hitting reality.
Final Score:
Windy City Rollers All Star Team - 93
Grave Danger - 64
The third bout of our third season took place at the brand-spankin' new WaMu Theater at Qwest Field Event Center!
The new venue was met by rave reviews from our fans, skaters and support staff.
This month's
battle for home season standings between the Derby Liberation Front and the Sockit Wenches left the pit crew
fan section in shock. The D.L.F. was well rested after last month's bye, and marched in to a full assault and
defeat over the Wenches. Special guests rolled in from San Francisco--the
Bay Area Derby Girls All Star Travel Team.
They faced off against Rat City's women in red, Grave Danger. Danger looked strong in the first half, going into
the half time with an eight point lead, but the B.A.D. Girls came back in the second half, defeating Grave Danger
and going home with a win.
