2004 EVENTS |
2004 saw the birth of the Rat City Rollergirls. We began by holding a number of events and
fundraisers to begin our quest to dominate the newly emerging world of flat track roller derby. While
official bouting did not begin until 2005, the rollergirls were busy training, skating and planning for our
first season.

The opening night reception & silent auction @ the Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) was a major success - this unique event showcased roller derby artists and musicians and helped put us on the map! Thanks to the Sunset and DJ Taco Supreme for setting the perfect mood for the incredible night.
the Post-Auction Celebration Party was the place to be and it was JAM PACKED! We had crazy hot Chuck Yaeger, Twink the Wonder Kid (Dick Rosetti of the END - these guys blew us away!) and the Rollergirl Misfits tribute band "The Unfits," with the gorgeous, yet deadly, Die Die Die My Darling (go-go) Dancers!
