S4B3: Be Our Hero?
Presented by Lighthouse Document Technologies, the third bout of our fourth season matches up Grave Danger and the Throttle Rockets! Derby Liberation Front takes on a visiting all-star travel team from the Slaughter County Roller Vixens.

Please note new location (Hangar 30) and start time -- doors are at 4:30 p.m. on the dot, and the first whistle blows at 5:50 p.m.! Also, this year we are offering tickets in new categories: there will no longer be reserved or general admission tickets. ALL tickets in 2008 will be either bleacher seats or floor-only seats, with seating within those two sections on a first-come-first-served basis. All-ages seating is extremely limited so be sure to bring your ID even if you don't plan on drinking.
S4B2: Are you ready to ROCK?
Presented by Jones Soda, the second bout of the Rat City Rollergirls fourth season starts off with Derby Liberation Front against the Sockit Wenches. The scrapes and bruises of last summer's semi-finals game between them now a distant memory, DLF hopes to serve up some flat-track revenge on the Sockit Wenches.

The second bout is Grave Danger vs. the Dairyland Dolls, a visiting all-star team from the Mad Rollin' Dolls in chilly Madison, WI. With the fires of hell at their wheels, will the Dairyland Dolls have what it takes to send the ladies in red back to their graves?
S4B1: MONSTER MASH
Presented by NWsource.com, this monster-themed first bout was a nail-biter, with the first match-up between the Sockit Wenches and the Throttle Rockets -- both teams had alumni skaters returning for duty (welcome back Holley Knock-hers, Dixie Dragstrip, Sassy Chassis, and Darth Skater!) and fresh meat just waiting to knock their very first jammer into the audience. Throttle Rockets were determined to prove they aren't a last-place team and the Sockit Wenches were on the look-out for their next championship trophy (gotta start early), so brutally snatched from their grasp last season. Unfortunately for the Throttle Rockets, the Sockit Wenches were not to be stopped, and walked away with a 101-86 victory against the intergalatic ladies in black.

Next up, Grave Danger came of a triumphant win in 2007 (season champions!) but Derby Liberation Front was still the team to beat. Did you know that Grave Danger is the only team that has never beaten DLF? Grave Danger tried to topple the mighty wall of DLF and cement their place at the top of the dog-pile (word on the street is that they trained all through the off-season in preparation for this game), but DLF was able to keep up with Femme Fatale's speed and withstand Skate Trooper's wicked blocks to come away with a 108-85 victory against the devilish Grave Danger.
SEATTLE RUST RIOT: A NORTHWEST EXPOSITION TOURNAMENT
2008 starts off with a bang: a tournament featuring eight roller derby leagues from around the Northwest! The Seattle Rust Riot is an all-day event that'll help tame your derby withdrawal (at least temporarily) until the regular season starts in March. The Rust Riot will be held Saturday, February 2 at Hangar 30 at Magnuson Park.

Seattle Rust Riot: NW Tournament - February 2, 2008 - Magnuson Park, Hangar 30
Tournament sponsored by the Seattle Fire Department, with:

Special Rust Riot patches and tees will be for sale, as well as our own league patches (new item!). Come visit our new food vendor, Skillet Street Foods, who'll be serving kobe beef burgers and hot dogs with some awesomely rad concoction called bacon jam. Vegetarian options available, but sadly no vegetarian bacon jam. The folks at The Showbox are back to run our beer garden, which benefits The Service Board, a non-profit organization.

The Seattle Rust Riot is proudly sponsored by the Seattle Fire Department. Be sure to visit them at SeattleFireJobs.com to find out more about Seattle Firefighters and how to become one. The Rust Riot trophies were created by our very own Rosie Revenge, DLF fresh meat, and materials were donated by Ballard Iron. Uniforms for Rat City's Rust Riot team were donated by Caffe Vita. Thanks so much to all of our sponsors! We, quite literally, could not do this without you.
